Kent came out for an estimate, once decided we went to the showroom to pick our pavers & pay the deposit, and then the pavers were installed. This was an expensive project but we are happy with the results! Kent & Jennifer were knowledgeable & professional. Their proposal was the lower of the two we got and included an Angie's List discount. We made an appt to meet Jennifer at the showroom to pick out the color & style of the pavers and then they were ordered. Installation took longer than we would have liked--we had storms everyday & I know they got behind. Plus, I would prefer to use a company who is busy rather than one with no customers. But, the guys showed up when they were supposed to and Kent visited often to oversee. Keep in mind: it is a loud & dusty project! They cleaned up the best they could and even pressure washed twice--once prior to sealing. We felt like they did appreciate our business--even received a thank you card! Overall we were very happy with Superior Pavers and have recommended them to friends already!

The Pavers cover roughly a 20'x40' area off our back porch, with a 9'x10' section to the side that serves as a space to walk out on once we put a screened cage up. A concrete footer was poured first, since we plan on putting up a screened cage later on when we can afford it. A couple days later, a different crew came out to put the pavers down. They did the dirt removal, prep work and laying down of pavers all in one day!  During the process, they needed to take a section of fence down to get in & out of the backyard. They also needed to remove the gate. When they put those back, they were stronger and more secure than before! There was also a section on either side of our gate that we wanted pavers on, but we didn't know if we would have enough pavers leftover. Well we did, and they put that and a nice platform for our rain barrel. Mind you, that was never even included in the original estimate. They did this extra area and it exceeded our expectations!

To be honest, we had lined up several companies for estimates, but once we started working with Superior to pick paver colors and ask all the initial questions, we knew they were the one. Superior just put us at ease throughout the entire process. Not to mention they blew away the competitors with their pricing. Our neighbors love our new pavers, and two of them have since called Superior out to get estimates of their own! Overall, I can't say enough good things about Superior Brick Pavers. Patricia and I also wish to show our appreciation for a job well done on the replacement of the driveway with the recent brick paver installation on July 13, 2011. The crew tackled the work early in the AM in a very efficient and coordinated way. They obviously knew what they were doing. They were very obliging in adjusting the location of the sprinkler heads to allow for appropriate space on the paver installation and by the end of the day had confidently transformed with ease the appearance of the driveway to a very artful splendid appearance. Before completing the work early the following morning the crew meticulously cleaned up the front property by picking up all debris, pressure washing the front entrance and garage door area because of the dust involved in cutting the made to measure bricks. Furthermore, the crew was very accommodating in that they finished off by pressure cleaning the street and leaving the work area spotless much to the appreciation of my immediate neighbors. The driveway was sealed the next day... and the end product also made for excellent comments from my neighbors on a job well done.

I had my concrete driveway removed and a new brick paver driveway installed. In addition, they did pavers on my front sidewalk and porch. I also had a lovely garden paver walkway added to my backyard.  Everything was done in the most professional manner and all within a one day timeline! It looks beautiful and I have received many compliments.  Kent came out and gave me an estimate and suggestions especially for my backyard. He was extremely professional and polite and emailed me a written estimate with a breakdown of sections to be done. In addition he offered to let me reclaim some old pavers reset in my concrete driveway and to remove and place my flagstone walkway in another area.

Jennifer spent a great deal of time with me helping me select a pattern and color for my project. Their huge display in their yard made it so easy to visualize the project.  I ended up in the hospital the week the project was scheduled for. Kent was able to reschedule it for my return home. The entire project was done in one day a great relief.  The following week they came back out to put a sealer over the entire surface.

It was the best and easiest part of my repair after sinkhole stabilization.

Superior Brick Pavers removed pavers and old drainage system, repacked underlayment layer with crushed concrete and reset pavers after leveling ground properly and set a new drainage system.

Our pool deck was installed in 2006 with the pool installation. Over the past two years several areas were starting to sag, and the drainage system was easily overwhelmed by heavy rains. The company inspected our pool area, and showed how the pavers were installed improperly, with the fall to the drains being uneven and the drains having high points, all of which contributed to the water problem. They came out a week later and uninstalled about 50% of our deck, where they found in some areas the builder hadn't even put crushed concrete under the pavers- some areas were just dirt. They dug out the extra dirt, added the concrete, compacted everything and then set the pavers and new, wider drains with removable screens. They then cleaned everything up, including power washing the powder off of our lanai screens. The team worked all day and had it done in one day. Despite all the mess they did a good job of keeping excess dust and debris out of the pool and then helped us move the heavier plants back into place around the pool. They then arranged for someone to come out the next day and re-drill holes for our safety fence. The deck looks much better and surely will handle water runoff better - so far it hasn't really rained since they fixed the deck so don't have a definitive proof of that yet.

We hired Superior Brick Pavers to expand our driveway and create a patio behind our home.  It looks fantastic.  About a month after the job was done, we noticed a problem with water coming up from underneath the driveway and shifting the pavers in one area.  Apparently, during the excavation of the old concrete driveway, an irrigation pipe deep below the ground had cracked without anybody knowing it.  When we told Superior about the problem, they sent out a crew to dig up that part of the driveway, fix the pipe, and reset the pavers.  They even re-sanded the whole driveway and redid the concrete edge.  Problem fixed, and looking great!  Thanks!  It’s great to see a company with such wonderful integrity, that even after they’ve been paid, they stand by their work and make everything right with a cheerful attitude.  I would definitely recommend them.

After having our home severely damaged by a sink hole needing to have our pool and deck repaired along with damage to almost every room in our home, we made a choice to not have the cool deck repaired but to go with pavers on our pool deck, lanai, drive and front walk way.  We had repaired the cool deck before we knew we had a sink hole and didn't want to risk seeing another third application of cool deck become cracked. 

I was concerned about the pavers being hot under foot around our pool with granddaughters that are 2 and 4 years old with tender northern feet.  We went to look at the vendor suggested by the company undertaking our home repairs, Superior Pavers in Pasco County.  We went on a hot summer day and took our shoes off and started looking at and walking on the colors that would go with our home. We selected a large paver as we didn't want the small brick effect on the pool area and lanai. 

When it came time for the work on the pool deck and lanai, which was the first area to be repaired, we were surprised when a crew of at least 5 guys arrived and swarmed over the space.  Within a day they had the job done.  Our pool and spa coping and the deck with two walk out areas to the yard were done and surpassed our expectation for beauty and comfort in the hot sun. Almost two months later we were ready for the drive, which fronts a three car garage, front walk and entry to our home to be completed.  Again a team arrived and set to work early in the morning of the appointed day.  By evening the entire job was finished, from removing the concrete, compacting the ground and underlay and putting the pavers down.  The team worked seamlessly as they had on the back area. Later we had the entire surface sealed, and again this was accomplished in one day. 

The team that came each time came with everything they needed. We never saw one item of theirs left behind and although we offered cool water through the day the coolers and drinks they had with them were plenty and they never needed our offers.  Not one item was left behind, be it a cup or water, soda bottle or can.  And the job is beautiful. The surface perfectly smooth, pavers are level with no area of unevenness.  We had expected that each job would take much longer.  But it didn't.  In fact we had a social gathering at our home for 23 people two days after the Lanai was finished.  We are very pleased with all areas and find that our feet are comfortable be in on the pool deck or going to get the mail at the curb.  Taking the time to walk the product in the sun did prove to insure that our choice is comfortable under our feet. SBP designed and installed a freeform paver patio off of our back porch. We have had a drainage problem in the past and SBP also installed a drainage system in the patio that fixed the past problem. Overall the project went very smooth and turned out a lot nicer then we thought it would.

I had the river rock pool deck, and had pavers installed and sealed to replace the river rock. Kent and company called to set an appointment to give me an estimate for redoing my pool deck in pavers and sealing it after the pavers were installed. Kent, the owner came on time, was very professional and courteous, and answered any question I had to my satisfaction. I accepted their estimate and went to their office to pick out the pavers I wanted. Kent and Jennifer were helpful in picking out the color and layout I wanted. They had many to choose from and had many types and colors laid out in the back of the office. This was very helpful to me. I was also shown what the finished color and layout would look like on their computer. The next day the pavers were delivered and the job started. The job was completed in two days and is beautiful. The pavers were sealed the following week at a day and time that was convenient to me. I was very impressed by how the work progressed, as well as the cleanup that followed. This is a company that pays attention to detail. They are professional, neat and courteous and obviously know what they are doing. If I decide to have my driveway done at sometime in the future this is the only company I would use. Thank you for a job well done. It was worth every penny.

We had three services from Superior Brick Pavers (SBP): Lanai resurfacing with overlay pavers atop preexisting surface, concrete driveway removal, prep and replacement of driveway and walkway with standard pavers AND sealing of all surfaces. From start to finish, overall great experience. I called and spoke with Jennifer in the office, and not knowing a lot about pavers, I was pleasantly surprised at her willingness to explain everything in detail. Kent called to set up an appointment to look at the property. He showed up on time on the day we wanted. He was courteous, informative, and very professional. We really got a sense immediately that he not only knew his stuff, but was also honest, which is a huge plus in any contracting business. He stayed at the property for about an hour, answering our questions, taking measurements, etc. We set up an appt. to meet with him at his workshop where he has about 8,000 sq. feet of various Paver surfaces all laid out, in sun and shade (nice to be able to see), in a huge variety of patterns, colors, and finishes. We had a good idea of what we wanted and Kent also made suggestions based on our home style, roof style and color scheme that really made the final choice POP when finished. We selected a pattern, color, etc and signed the contract that day (A Saturday AM, by the way, very convenient for "working" folks) with no down payment (a surprise). When the pavers came in, we were contacted by email (after an inquiry on my part about estimated start date...about 2 weeks after Paver selection) with info from Jennifer that Kent and crew would be on site 2 days later to start on the patio. The work was done efficiently, neatly and quickly. I was surprised at how it really came together so nicely and FAST. We ran into a problem with the weather, where it rained all day every day which threw off Kent's schedule, but we appreciated the fact that he didn't delve into the driveway project and leave us in a mess waiting for the rain to stop. He continually updated us on his plan, and was apologetic about the weather (something he can't control. of course, I think he appreciated that we didn't get angry with him for circumstances beyond his control as I am sure some clients might not be so tolerant. I've had a miserable driveway for nearly 10 years....another week made no difference to us) Once the weather cleared, they started bright and early Monday AM and had the driveway done (tear out, prep, and pavers down) in about 3 days. They left the property clean as they could, hauled away all trash, and his workers were courteous and timely. We anticipated that the sealing would take about 2 days, but they got it all done (again racing against the weather) in one day and it looks gorgeous! I just love the whole project. The only downside was the sand and dirt that landed in the pool (no surprise in retrospect) requiring a lot of cleaning. We are now enjoying our new lanai and driveway. This contracting service is fantastic. I would recommend to anyone. Great communication, great service, and beautiful work all around. Thank you so much!

They are not the cheapest and not the most expensive but I definitely got more than my moneys worth.  Kent and his crew work hard and with the utmost professionalism. Their showroom was extremely helpful for the selection of my pavers. They have almost every color and shape you could want.  My patio was installed, cleaned up and ready to use in less than 1 day.  It is beautiful and I will recommend Superior Brick Pavers to everyone.

As we went through the bidding process, there was always something that just “wasn’t quite right,” such as personality, price, experience, and so on.
