Frequently Asked Questions
Warranty Information How do I get started? How long will my job take? Every job is different and start and completion times will vary. However, most average size driveways can be done in one day (weather and situation permitting). This includes complete removal of the old concrete or asphalt driveway, installation and clean-up. In addition, an average size pool deck remodel with brick pavers can also be fully completed in 1-2 days. (Please ask us for details and references as every installation job will vary).
Can I buy just the pavers?
We do offer brick paver retail sales. Call our office for details. What is sealant and should I seal my pavers? Sealant is a protective coating that is sprayed onto the pavers after installation. Although it is not necessary to seal brick pavers, sealing your pavers, deepens and enhances the color, helps to keep the sand in the Paver joints (however, there will always be some sand loss), and sealant helps to make the pavers easier to clean. What type of sealant do you use? We use commercial grade products only. (Please ask for details). Can I seal the pavers myself? We do not recommend sealing your brick pavers with a product that is purchased from a retail outlet. Hiring someone that has extensive experience with sealing brick pavers will ensure the quality of sealant and safe application, as most sealants are quite toxic and proper application will help to avoid the pavers from turning white. Incorrect use of product and application can cost you two to three times as much to fix. Particularly, if the pavers have to be stripped, cleaned and the sealant re-applied.
